New Experiment

1st)

Remember to continue imagining and moving into a world without fear.

2nd)

Imagine a world in which you are very happy with what you are doing and everything is fine. Move in that direction. It doesn't matter where you're starting from.

These exercises are not just for thinking.
Do them

Darrick here. I hope you don't mind me reading this.

What specifically do you fear? Why do you fear those things? How do you view failure?

How did you conclude that you needn't dig up your history to determine the present? I argue that the ability to grow and adapt requires the ability to reflect upon the past. The past needn't drag you down, but it defines you nonetheless.

true,

but I think it's also true that reflection on the past is only useful to the extent that it helps me move forward.

I am susceptible for searching the past for explanations, but at some point those explanations must become actions.

After a long while of doing the opposite, I would rather move forward and begin forgetting than dwell on explanations from my past to the extent that I stay there.

Ok, for a minute there I thought you were advocating a total break from history, which isn't very fun. I'm not very familiar with getting stuck in the past, as you've probably noticed. I would like to gain a better understanding of it and how it impacts you, some time later.

But not now. Enjoy the Eastern seaboard!
